The CPRRRR class is designed for elementary aged children who enjoy the magic of hidden treasures and mermaids. Children must be age 5 or older and independent with the restroom.
If your child has outgrown the pirate life and is ready for "big kid" responsibilities, we've got them covered. Our higher-level courses focus on being Safe at Home or a Safe Sitter while watching younger children.
We also offer CPR & First AId: Heartsaver Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, or Friends & Family CPR. (American Heart Association Guidelines)
Finally, we offer an interactive class for Grandparents to safely watch their grandchildren.
The Private Charter: If you have a larger family or a group of siblings and friends spanning all ages, our Private Bookings (8 or more) are the way to go! We can customize the adventure to make sure it’s magical for the little ones and exciting for the older kids at the same time.
Save 10% when you book two or more deckhand siblings. Discount will show up in payment, must book together.
Our crew is always on the move! Because we bring the magic to the community, we drop anchor at various "ports of call" like local libraries and community centers. When you book your voyage, be sure to check your booking for the exact coordinates for that day's adventure!
This is a drop-off program, parents must remain available via phone and within a quick driving distance. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, all adventurers must be fully independent in the bathroom.
For Private Groups (8+): We’ll coordinate a "Custom Charter" plan with you during booking to ensure enough adult supervision is on deck!
We recommend dressing for adventure! Since we’ll be navigating the high seas, here is our crew's dress code:
Comfort is Key: Wear clothes that allow for plenty of movement. "Landlubber" clothes like leggings, sweatpants, shorts, or t-shirts are perfect.
Costumes Welcome: Does your child have a favorite pirate eye patch or a mermaid crown? Bring it! We love it when our crew arrives in character.
The "Messy" Rule: While we try to keep things ship-shape, sometimes magic gets a little messy.
Sometimes the seas get rough or a sailor falls ill! If you need to cancel your voyage, here is how we handle the "Changing Tides":
More than 48 Hours Notice: You’ll receive a full refund of your doubloons or a credit to join a future voyage at any of our ports of call.To keep our ship sailing smoothly, all Voyage Credits must be redeemed within 90 days of your original booking.
Less than 48 Hours Notice: Because we’ve already stocked the galley and prepared the treasure for your specific crew, we cannot offer a refund. However, you may transfer your "boarding pass" to another friend or sailor!
Weather or Port Closures: If we have to cancel due to the library closing or a storm at sea, you will be notified immediately and offered a full refund or a priority spot on our next sail.
Every sailor finds their own way to enjoy the sea! We know the "hustle and bustle" of a pirate crew isn't for everyone, so we offer a "Calm Waters" approach for our more sensitive explorers:
We never force a child into the action. Shy sailors are welcome to sit on the "shore" (the edge of the activity) and observe until they feel ready to join the fleet.
We do have music and "noisy" parts of the adventure. If your child prefers a quiet mermaid sparkle over a boisterous pirate "Arrr!", please let us know in advance, so that we can ensure we have enough Noise Blocking Headphones (our "Magic Mufflers") to help dull the roar of the ocean. These allow your child to stay in the middle of the magic without the noise becoming overwhelming.
Additionally, we know new places can be sometimes feel scary or overwhelming, please notify the Captain during your booking so we can discuss an early "Meet the Captain" and "Map of the Day" options.
Meet the Captain: sensory-sensitive kids can come in 5–10 minutes early to meet the "Captain" before the rest of the crowd arrives. They can walk around the space and familiarize themselves with the space in advance.
The Captain can also prepare a "Map of the Day" (a visual schedule) that shows exactly what will happen their adventure. Knowing what comes next can be a huge relief!
We want every explorer to feel at home in our cove. While our Captain is a Registered Nurse by trade, please keep in mind that these sessions are designed for group fun and creative play, not medical care.
To ensure a safe and magical voyage for everyone:
If your child requires 1-on-1 physical assistance, specialized medical supervision, or help with personal care, we ask that a parent or guardian stays on deck as their "Co-Captain" throughout the session.
We are happy to make simple sensory adjustments - like using "Magic Mufflers" (noise blocking headphones) but we are not trained in specialized behavioral or developmental therapy.
If you’re unsure if the voyage is the right fit, please message us! We’d love to help you decide if our adventure is the right environment for your child.
